I’ve been getting a lot of questions on what I’m doing right now that’s working for me. So, instead of answering one by one, I figure I’ll just share it with you.
This blog post will not contain any links. This is just for sharing value with you!
So What’s Working For Me?
I’m sure you’re noticing a lot of videos lately. Video information, distrubution, content sharing, and even sales letters. Let me assure you, there is a reason.
Video Marketing is HOT!!
And, it’s working for me.
I’ve created videos for my own products in niche markets, and I’ve used videos as an affiliate.
As an affiliate, I’ve created videos that basically “Pre-Sell” the product I’m promoting. And it’s worked…VERY WELL!
I then make short videos and push them through a video distribution service that I use.
BONUS TIP:
Traffic Geyser is an AWESOME service for video distribution. But if you want to use a FREE service, use TubeMogul. It doesn’t have nearly the capabilities as Traffic Geyser, or distribute to as many sites, but for FREE, it’s worth it. Check it out. Once you see the power of an “Automated Video Distribution Service” you’ll easily want to get Traffic Geyser because it’s that much better. But use Tube Mogul for now!!!
So How Do I Do It?
Simple. I create a short slide show presentation using Powerpoint. Then, I use Camtasia to record my screen. I basically read the slides. Once I”m finished recording, I distibute the videos and post on my blogs.
If you’re promoting as an affiliate, just pre-sell the product by talking about the bullet points of the sales letter. Then, instead of a shopping cart button, just put up your affiliate link.
Why Does It Work?
Think about this, and you’ll totally get why it works.
Someone comes to your sales page and they read your headline. If they like it, they scroll down to the bottom to see how much it costs. If they think it’s affordable, they scroll up and read your sub heads. If they don’t think it’s a good value, they leave your site. But they don’t really “KNOW” if it’s a good value because they missed your entire sales letter!!!
With video, you can remove the controls so they have to WATCH the video. They can SEE what you are saying by viewing the slides, they HEAR you because they are listening. You can use emotion in your voice. They can feel what you are saying. And most of all, they have to watch the ENTIRE video in order to see the price.
That gives you the chance to build up the value. By the time they see the price, they should be ready to pay much more than you are charging, if you did your job right!
I could go on and on about the benefits and the “How To” of creating a video sales letter.
Just know that it’s simple.

Many of you who follow my blog regularly know I’m a RAVING fan of Ryan Deiss. He always seems to be on the cutting edge, leading the pack rather than following. I wish I could spend as much money testing as he does, but luckily, he shares the info he does get. Such is the case with creating video sales letters.
