Profits Accelerator: My Online Marketing Story

I’ve never really told anyone how I got started marketing online, but today, I feel like spilling the beans.  Hopefully it can remind you of how you got started, and maybe even encourage those of you that aren’t yet making money online.

Before I started Internet Marketing, I was a bartender.  And I had these 2 brothers that were regulars at my bar.  I worked at a hotel bar, and they lived across the street.  So they were there a lot.

A Few Tips On Creating Video Sales Letters

Creating video sales letters to support or supplant other forms of advertising on the Internet is growing in popularity. As entrepreneurs see the potential in these video projects there are more ways to use them to drive home a sales point or to attract a new prospective client. When you create a video promoting your product or service, here are some tips to keep in mind.

The length of the video is important. Just as in written sales documents, a video that is longer than five minutes is likely to lose the interest of the prospective customer. The customer’s browser may be slow to download your video, so keep the length between two and five minutes. You might need to break up longer informational pieces into two or more segments.

A good conversion rate on the video will be seen when the video is sent to a targeted audience only. The best video audience will be those who have already had contact with your business or product and are happy with the contact. A niche market that has opted in to receiving information from you via email is more receptive to your contact. A good sales letter is one that builds on interest that is already generated.

The video images appeal to more of the senses than standard sales letter does. If you add music to your video presentation, you have appealed to another sense that will help you to sell your product. Make sure the music is appropriate to the targeted audience and, where possible, is happy music rather than somber.

Creating video sales letters is as much an art as a science. You can do something unique with your style or presentation, but you should still take advantage the Internet to post copies of your video. Use technology well and you may find your revenues climbing.
