What Internet Marketing Projects Should I Outsource?

When it comes to answering the question “what projects should I outsource”,  it does really come down to just what exactly it is that you are doing. In most cases it is often best to employ others to do those tasks that can take up a lot of your time, therefore freeing you up to get on with other things that can help you to bring in money.

Outsourcing does not have to be too expensive;  however you need to be sure about the standard of work that you shall actually receive for your money. There are a number of websites that can link you to freelancers, so spend a bit of time looking at the kind of tasks people are having done before coming to any kind of a conclusion about what you yourself may end up outsourcing.

Looking at these kinds of websites can also give you an insight into just how much different tasks cost, and it therefore makes it a lot easier to  budget for it accordingly. Do remember though, that you often get what you pay for, so it is a fine balance between getting value for money along with getting a job well done.

A quick look on these freelance websites let you see that basically anything can be outsourced from logos being created to articles being written,  to sales and more. In fact,  you can sometimes end up having every aspect of a project outsourced,  and all you need to do is bring the pieces together and count the money that it brings in.

It is often best to outsource those tasks that you are perhaps not as strong at, which then lets you concentrate on the parts you are good at. Budget, what it is that you are doing, and your own personal strengths, should all be taken into consideration.  But there is no doubt that outsourcing can really help a company to expand.  Just take your time in selecting the right person for the job, or it could lead to more problems than it could ever solve.

You Don’t Need Money To Get Started

I’m tired of people using money as an excuse for not getting started.  No matter what business you’d like to be in, money is the number one excuse that holds people back.

And we all know that you can’t get going if you don’t get started.

I started my internet business for about $100.

I bought a domain name and hosting, and I was off.  And if I paid for hosting monthly, I could have gotten started for under $20!!

So how can you let money hold you back?

I’m always looking for new things to invest in.  And lately, I’ve been very interested in Real Estate. I would have gotten started sooner but I admit, I let the money excuse hold me back.

I figured I needed a large lump sum of cash to get started.

Last weekend, I went to a Real Estate Seminar.  It cost me $49 and I learned a ton!

I learned about residential Real Estate, Commercial Real Estate, and even Tax Liens (something I’m VERY interested in!).

What I learned, which may surprise many of you, is there are strategies that allow you to buy Real Estate for NOTHING, and profit a lump sum of cash (individual results may very).

Basically, you buy something on contract, which gives you time to find someone else to sell it to, with little to no money out of pocket.

There were quite a few strategies that I learned and became very interested in learning more about.

Then the law of attraction kicked in…

I was watching TV on Sunday (I’m an infomercial junkie!), and one of my favorite marketers was on…. Dean Graziosi.

I’ve respected this guy for quite a while. He has 2 best sellers on Real Estate. He has over 20 years of experience, not just teaching people to make money buying real estate, but actually making money buying real estate.

So Dean has some new videos he’s releasing online. You can’t watch these one’s on TV.  And he’s sharing some tips about how you can buy now, at Rock Bottom, with little to money down, and even if you have Bad Credit!

I don’t know Dean personally, but he’s on my list of people I’d love to meet and learn more from.

The Millionaire Messenger And My Big Failure!

My Path Of Failure

For as long as I could remember, I wanted my own business. I was a good student, but I hated school. I didn’t see the value in working for others. I didn’t see the “security” that so many thought they had by working for a big corporation.

But I also didn’t commit myself to anything more than mediocrity.

I’m sure part of it was that I lacked the necessary focus to get where I wanted. And then again, I was also afraid of the friends I would leave behind.

I knew that I would face criticism from those that I loved, and resistance from many who knew me. So rather than try to explain myself, I kept my mouth shut, and my journey was slowly came to a screeching halt.

I wasn’t happy with where I was, and I wasn’t excited about where that was taking me. I knew the potential that I had, and I was letting it all go to waste.

I had so much to share with so many people, and yet I stood on the sideline, not wanting to play in the big game.

Then, in 2007, things started to change.

I began to surround myself with people that could make a difference in my life. I became a student to my mentor, and was beginning to break out of the shell that I had kept myself in.

I began marketing my information online, spreading my word to help those who were looking for solutions to their problem.

But it wasn’t happening fast enough for me, and my efforts began to fade. But my mentor continued to push me, to have faith in me, to encourage me, and to believe in me.

It was his constant encouragement that kept me going, and my word began to slowly spread.

I started to build a following in the form of email addresses. I thought was serving my followers, and providing them with value. I thought I was helping them solve there issues.

But I wasn’t…I was FAILING!

I had it all wrong. I was doing more “telling” than teaching. I wasn’t serving the people who looked to me for trust and guidance, they way my mentor had served me.

At the time, I was blind to all this. But, as the saying goes, ‘when the student is ready, the teacher will appear’.

That’s brings us to Thanksgiving, 2010, and my introduction to Brendon Burchard.

I was enjoying cocktails with my mentor and his wife late that Thanksgiving night. Brendon Burchard’s Experts Academy course was just getting ready to close.

As we were talking about Brendon’s launch videos, and all the content he shared, and the way in which he delivered it, I began talking myself into investing in his $2,000 course. And on that Thanksgiving night, I did just that.

I had an instant connection with Brendon. And it started with his sharing his story.

His mission to serve began when he was 19, after he was in a tragic car accident that nearly took his life. He says it was at that time that he asked himself 3 questions about his life.

1. Did I Live?
2. Did I Love?
3. Did I Matter?

I asked myself those 3 questions and I wasn’t happy with the result. The answers confirmed my earlier suspicion that I had FAILED!

I was no longer providing value to my community of fans and followers. I was simply pitching them other products, hoping they would buy so I could earn my affiliate commission.

I wasn’t serving them. I wasn’t teaching them. I wasn’t delivering what I promised them.

I just finished reading Burchard’s New York Times Best Seller, “The Millionaire Messenger”, and once again, he has inspired me to make a difference.

I want to teach again. I want to give my community great content that they can implement in their business today, so I can make an impact on their life, and in their business.

Moving forward, I want to deliver useful content.  I want to serve. I want to matter!

Brendon’s work continues to inspire me, and I think he can do the same for you. But Brendon quite clearly lays it out to his community, that he expects you to push yourself to your highest potential to succeed at what you truly desire.

Our industry is full of enough tire-kickers and fly-by-night gurus who just sell and run.
